Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Location: Carman, MB and your home office
Base Salary: $12.00-$16.00 based on qualifications
We provide customers with high quality and cost effective products in a fast and friendly manner for the landscape and water quality industry. Established in 2008, we supply water quality solutions for ponds, lakes and lagoons across Manitoba and Saskatchewan and landscape lighting for contractors across Western Canada. Our goal is to maintain our customer base and grow it. We believe in creating a positive atmosphere for our employees and we strive to provide fast, friendly and knowledgeable service for our customers.
To preform clerical duties such as data entry, file organization along with marketing and research. Research market and competitors, write blogs on the water quality solutions, visit landscape contractors, work with retail customers, update information on websites, write social media posts, pack orders, book and monitor shipments.
10% – Data entry – price lists, contacts
10% – Organize existing files
10% – Visit and work with landscape contractors
10% – Installation of aeration and ultrasonic systems
20% – Research potential markets and competitors.
20% – Write social media posts to promote product line. Update websites.
20% – Pull and pack shipments, book and monitor couriers or LTL
You will report to Sales Manager, occasionally work as team and work independently in your home office or in the office in Carman. You will be expected to bring new ideas to the table. A weekly to do list will be determined with supervisor and reviewed at the end of each week.
You will be in contact with current and new clients on the phone and occasionally in person.
Effective communication skills written and oral
Independent worker that is self-motivated
Pursuing a degree in, business environmental sciences or engineering
High school diploma or equivalent
Efficient computer skills

Experience in sales
Knowledge about landscape lighting or water quality
Pleasure craft operators card
CPR and first aid certified
Class 5 driver’s license
Responsible to the customer for decisions made, liaisons and results delivered.
Physical Demands of the Job
70% of this positon will require sitting at a computer and talking on the phone. 15% may include traveling to visit customers. 10% may include installation/maintenance of aeration and/or ultrasonic systems
Occasional overtime. Mileage will be covered for customer visits.
Installation, requires working outdoors sometimes in rough terrain, bush country and on the water in a boat in many types of weather if it is safe to do so. Light manual labor trenching, backfilling, connections etc.
Hazards include- working near water, operating or being near heavy equipment during installations.
